Our 2023 Latte Art Competition was an online competition where our baristas from around the country submitted their best Latte Art pours.

We had 40 Baristas submit their entries and all names were drawn at random to form 3 rounds of head to heads. Each barista pair was given a specific design to recreate and submit for judging.

After these three rounds we had our list of quarter finalists. These 8 Baristas were again drawn at random to compete against each other and from this we moved into our semi finals with 4 participants – Fatima from Columbus Coffee Riccarton, Georgia from Columbus Coffee Mitre 10 MEGA Porirua, Stella from Columbus Coffee Mitre 10 MEGA Porirua & Imagodei from Columbus Coffee Pukekohe. The semi finals match ups were Imagodei vs Fatima & Stella vs Georgia.

Stella and Imagodei went head to head in our Grand Final to determine the overall Latte Art Champion and it was an incredibly close finish with Stella from Columbus Coffee Mitre 10 MEGA Porirua taking home the trophy.
